ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE COURT

In Opinion 1/14,

REQUEST for an opinion under Article 218(11) TFEU,

made by the Republic of Malta, represented by A. Buhagiar and P. Grech, acting as Agents,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE COURT,

after hearing the Advocate General, M.Szpunar,

makes the following

Order

1By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 3 August 2015, the Republic of Malta informed the Court that it wished to withdraw its request.

2By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 17 August 2015, the Kingdom of Spain informed the Court that it had no observations to submit.

3In those circumstances, the case should be removed from the register of the Court.

4Costs incurred in submitting observations to the Court are not recoverable.

On those grounds, the President of the Court hereby orders:

Opinion 1/14 is removed from the register of the Court.
