Two issues arise on this appeal about Personal Independence Payment (“PIP”).
The main issue is whether the ability (or inability) to move around or carry items (e.g., food or cooking utensils) when preparing food or cooking is relevant to daily living activity 1 in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security (Personal Independence Payment) Regulations 2013 (“the PIP Regs”).
The second issue is whether dentures can be an aid to ‘taking nutrition’ under daily living activity 2 in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the PIP Regs.
