In the run up to the trial on 22 September 2025, it was indicated that the Claimant was going to plead guilty and that it was unlikely that a trial would be needed. He duly voluntarily attended, in accordance with his bail conditions, on 22 September 2025. He was taken into the dock. At his request, he was rearraigned. He pleaded guilty to Counts 1, 4 and 5. Counts 2 and 3 (the mobile phone and laptop) were intended to lie on the file, meaning the prosecution did not proceed with those Counts.
