Challenging the jurisdiction of the English court
Challenging the jurisdiction of the English court
By his application dated 24 January 2025, Iftikhar seeks to challenge the jurisdiction of the English court over him in relation to the 2019 English Partnership Claim. He does this in two distinct ways. First of all, he says he has never been served with the proceedings. Secondly, he says that, if he has been served, the English court should not exercise its jurisdiction over him.
