A trial date in 2023 was fixed, but the fixture later had to be broken. In the event, the date fixed for trial was in 2024, more than two years after the prosecution had been commenced. There were a significant number of hearings during that period. These included several hearings which culminated in one of the respondents being committed to prison for breaches of a restraint order.
