The father
27.The father’s filed one witness statement. His oral evidence was, if anything, even shorter than the mother’s. He became very distressed when discussing O, and (I thought) found the whole process of giving evidence hard, which is not surprising. He said that he had nor injured O, and nor had the mother. He had not asked her whether she had done so because, he said, ‘we are not animals’.
