Mr Justice Hayden :

I am concerned with L, a boy aged four years. The matter is listed before me pursuant to the Order of Mr Goodwin KC, sitting as a Deputy Judge of this Division, on 19^th February 2025. The Order made on that day identifies the issues to be determined at this hearing:

Whether the child should be made a Ward of court;

Whether the court has jurisdiction to make a summary return order in respect of the child pursuant to the inherent jurisdiction; and

If so, whether a summary return order should be made in the terms sought by the applicant.
