Currently the costs of the single joint expert are to be shared equally, but with provision for this order to be reconsidered at the final hearing. CAFCASS has applied to be released from the obligation to contribute to the costs of the single joint expert, on the basis that the order appointing the single joint expert was made before the case was allocated to CAFCASS. No party has objected to this variation and I am content to grant it.
