Is the confirmation or denial necessary for the purposes of those interests?
We have determined that there is legitimate interest in transparency and accountability specifically in relation to whether or not complaints have been made against the headteacher and referred to the School’s governing body and if so, what the outcome was. That information is not available to the requestor or to the public via another route. On that basis we find that confirmation or denial was necessary for the purposes of those interests.
