Grant of protection status
The appellant was recognised as a refugee and granted leave to remain on 15 May 2007. He was granted ILR on 11 October 2012. It is not necessary to set out the details of his protection claim for the purpose of this decision.
Criminal conviction
On 31 October 2019 the appellant was convicted of wounding/inflicting grevous bodily harm without intent and was sentenced to two years eight months’ imprisonment.
