When can an appeal be made?
An appeal to this Tribunal can be made only on a point of law: section 11 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007. It must be shown that it is arguable that the FTT made an error of law in reaching its decision. “Arguable” means that the argument stands a realistic as opposed to fanciful prospect of success.
