The Parties and The Claims
The claimant and the defendant were in a personal relationship between around 2010 and 2021, when they split up in acrimonious circumstances. At an early stage in the relationship the defendant took the claimant’s surname, but they never married. They have two children together, born in 2012 and 2013.
By a Part 7 claim form issued on 30 January 2023 the claimant claimed against the defendant declarations as to his full beneficial ownership of:
53 East Road Sheffield S2 3PP (53ER);
3 Endcliffe Grove Avenue Sheffield S10 3EJ (3EGA)
(the Sheffield Properties); and
4 Echo Heights , London E4 7JZ (Echo Heights)
as well as damages of £6 million for transferring trust funds into her personal bank account. The claim in relation to Echo Heights was abandoned some time before trial.
