Parental responsibility
Parental responsibility
This is not a case in which the birth father has acquired parental responsibility; the mother not being in a position to identify the father and therefore he has had no chance to acquire it. It follows that he does not have the benefit of automatic notification, party status or the right to give or withhold consent to adoption.
