Alternative therapies
Alternative therapies
In relation to alternative therapies which the Claimant has tried in the past (yoga, acupuncture, abdominal massage therapy, raspberry tea and “apothecary”), Mr Slack says he is unable to comment, Mr Magos notes that there is no scientifically valid evidence that any of these treatments are beneficial and so he cannot recommend that she should continue with them, and Mr Raine-Fenning agrees. However he notes that many women describe benefit from alternative therapies and as such he finds these reasonable.
