THE FACTUAL BACKGROUND
THE FACTUAL BACKGROUND
The Appellant’s Circumstances and the Provision of Accommodation.
The appellant was born on 25 March 1999. In February 2021, she discovered that she was pregnant, and her family required her to leave the family home. Between February and May 2021, the appellant stayed with friends.
On about 28 May 2021, the appellant applied for assistance as a person who was homeless. On the same day, the respondent secured the provision of accommodation at Studio 2, 312 Verdant Lane, London SE 16 1TW. That is a self-contained studio flat. It measured 16.5 m2. On 24 October 2021, the appellant’s son was born. The appellant and her son continued to live at the studio flat. On about 6 June 2022, it is said that the appellant complained to the respondent that the accommodation was unsuitable but we were not provided with a copy of that complaint.
