Quarantine regulations
Quarantine regulations
It appears that the meaning of the words ‘quarantine regulations’ in either the American or the English versions of the clause has not been considered judicially in either country. Nevertheless it is clear that the same approach must be adopted, interpreting the words as they would be understood by business people, without regard to the niceties of local law. Applying that approach, it is clear that quarantine regulations are laws concerned with the protection of health, whether of people or animals.
