This Application
At the hearing listed before me the Claimant sought final injunctive relief against the remaining twelve Named Defendants and a continuation of the Order against the four categories of Persons Unknown. The Claimant invited me to make a single coterminous Order that would expire on 25th July 2030, with an annual review in respect of Persons Unknown. In support of that application the Claimant relied upon the evidence that had previously been considered by Bourne J, Tipples J and Murray J, together with further witness statements from Scott Patterson (21st May 2025) Nicholas Wargent (23rd May 2025) and Manan Singh (27th May 2025).
At the outset of the hearing Natalie Pratt, on behalf of the Claimant, sought permission to rely upon a seventh witness statement prepared in these proceedings by Manan Singh, her instructing solicitor. That statement is dated 21st July 2025 and was accompanied by a large volume of documentary exhibits. On the basis that I was undoubtedly going to be assisted in determining this application by receiving and considering the most up to date evidence about events that were continuing to evolve I granted permission at the outset of the hearing for the Claimant to rely upon that statement.
